SEE Camp April 2009 Dr. Navin and Dr. Sanjay Gupta

Under the auspices of SEE, Dr. Navin Gupta flew in from USA to conduct an eye camp with Dr. Sanjay Gupta at Anjali Eye Center, Howrah where 100 cataract surgeries and 2 pterygium excisons were performed over 5 days from April 6 to April 10.
Of these, 67 were phacoemulsifications and 33 were SICS.
This was done in one operating room one two tables.
Report and Evaluation:
The host surgeon’s set up at Anjali Eye Center is fully geared for high-volume cataract surgeries under excellent conditions.
